With 3.1 billion people around the globe having no access to healthy food and 828 million in dire starvation, the UN observes that an estimated 31% of the global food production is lost or wasted between harvest, retail and household consumption, accounting for 8 – 10 per cent of the total amount of greenhouse gases and contributing to unstable climate events like droughts and flooding. These food security-threatening events eventually affect crop yields, disrupt the food supply chain and tend to reduce the nutritional quality of crops.

All these prove the urgent need for an efficient system that can utilize adaptive and mitigative innovations in strategy, storage, distribution and management to effectively counter food loss, waste and scarcity. This is where we come in.

As a sustainability model business, The Lush Culture, through the employment of exemplary applications and trusted models, communicates its practical findings to the agrifood sector and uses sensitization methods to create the necessary empowerment needed for effective resource management that ensures food security.

In order to achieve our goal of becoming a leading agri-sustainability innovator, we rely on the use of sensitization methods to communicate tested and trusted models, ensuring that our applied innovations become the catalyst for the sectoral renovation of agriculture across the globe. By so doing, we are able to birth empowerment for financial stability and more.
